Help, Protect and Maintenance Infrastructure
This park has a very exuberant and dense rainy forest, where you can find many rivers and waterfalls. It also has very beautiful beaches, however you need to hike for at least 1,5 hours to reach them.
It is a very hot, humid and rainy place. The most outstanding species that you can see are the scarlet macaws, the peccaries, the coatis, the raccoons, among others. There are also some important flora species like Ajo, Ojoche, Cedro, Caracolito, among others.
Work to do:
. Trail maintenance and construction.
. Infrastructure maintenance.
. Customer attention.
. Support control and protection activities.
In the Park, there is a pretty big wooden and concrete house, with rooms with bunk beds for volunteers and rangers. There is potable water and an electricity generator, which is turned on for the most part of the day.
Food is provided three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner): it consists of a typical Costa Rican meal that has rice, beans, pasta, one type of meat, vegetables and fruit.
The volunteers might be asked to help in the kitchen.
With your free time you can enjoy the natural beauties of this Park, horseback riding or hiking, or you can visit other places.
